Accordion cards can be as simple or complicated as you like. This one has chipboard covers, so it's more like a little book, but you can also just use cardstock alone.
Here's what to do:
- Choose a strip of watercolor paper or cardstock, and accordion fold it evenly. This one was folded at 3 inch intervals. (I use a bone folder to make the edges sharp, but a ruler works too.) If you need a longer piece, you can glue strips together.
- Decorate the individual sections as you please. I used rubber stamps, and hand wrote the greeting in italic. Then I added the photos.
- If you want covers at each end, cover two pieces of chipboard, matboard, or cardboard with decorative paper. (The covers should be just slightly larger than the sections of the card.)
- If you want a ribbon tie, glue the ribbon onto the inside of the chipboard covers before you glue on the folded card. (So the ribbon is sandwiched between the cover and the card.)
