Decorate My House and TFT #392

Welcome to Thursday, and welcome to another Thursday Favorite Things link party!

Many of you know that we moved into our house about a year and a half ago.  Life has been very hectic since then (to put it mildly), so I haven't really taken time to decorate much. Oh, I've pinned a plenty, but I haven't really tackled any of the projects. I've decided, though, that it's time to put some personality into the place and get motivated.

So, today, my features from last week's party highlight some decorating projects that I've decided I'm going to do in my new house!  (Yes, I'm planning to do them all!)

Some party reminders:  Please pin from the original blog, and not from here.  Also, don't forget to leave a comment here with your link number. Thanks!

Here are my features:

This botanical gallery wall from Lecultivateur makes me so happy.  It's beautiful, and it looks simple to do.

AND, this beautifully refinished dresser, also from Lecultivateur is perfect too.  It looks so pretty beneath the prints.  (The chest I want to refinish is taller than this dresser, so I'm not planning to place it beneath the prints.  But I am so excited to refinish it and put it to use!)

Our garden window is crying out for some painted terra cotta pots like these at Bluesky at Home.

I love vintage bird themed accessories, but I've never been very good at designing a vignette to show them off.  I love these ideas from Lora B.

It’s time to party my sweet blog friends. You can add three links until midnight on Saturday. One each day or all at once. Please invite your blog friends and social networks to join us. - Inlinkz has implemented a new policy --  When you add your link to the list, you need to click the little square boxes about their policies on the bottom right.

  3. Oh my goodness the botanicals displayed simply like that - and that dresser! I love a scrubbed, raw wood finish that's naked like that.I'm sharing photos I snapped this week of the cozy kitchen we renovated entirely ourselves DIY style at #90 (we're not in the construction biz!) - thanks for the opportunity. And thanks for your time and talents hosting TFT, Pam. Hope the summer is being gentle with your kind self.
