Thursday Favorite Things #407
Thanks for joining us today for the 8 year anniversary of the TFT link party. Katherine, from Katherine’s Corner, started this great party about a month after I started blogging! It was one of the first link parties I participated in. I’m so glad you’re here to celebrate with us.
Temperatures have been in the 90s here this week, so I’m glad there were so many fall posts at last week’s party to remind me to go get some pumpkins and mums and start decorating for fall. Our pool is still open, and I may get one last swim in today.
As a reminder, please leave a comment with your link number, and pin from the original sources. Thanks!
Here are my features from last week’s party:
I love these beautiful fall color combinations from Country Road 407. These are so helpful for decorating and for art and crafts.
Look at this charming storybook cottage in Tennessee, shared by Michele from Hello Lovely. Tennessee is an easy drive for us here in Missouri, so I’m saving this place to consider for a future getaway.
Here are some decadent cookies for you from My Recipe Treasures, plus some very good reminders about gratitude.
Sylvia, from Grace for a Gypsy, shared a fun project and video she did with her darling granddaughter – acrylic paint pouring. It looks very fun and easy, and I think I’ll try this!
It’s time to party my sweet friends. You can add three links until midnight on Saturday. One each day or all at once. Please invite your blog friends and social networks to join us. Inlinkz has implemented a new policy – When you add your link to the list, you need to click the little square boxes about their policies on the bottom right.
Please subscribe to ALL of your hostesses blogs.

Thanks for joining us faithfully each week, Debbie! Hugs back to you!
Hey, Pam! THANKS A MILLION for featuring my story! You'll love it if you visit. I myself am ready for a visit to Missouri – living in Columbia for a few years helped me fall in love, and I'd move back in a heartbeat. I love visiting you here in blogland each week so I'm so thankful blog gatherings for inspiration still exist like TFT. What an accomplishment to be celebrating 8 years! That is fantastic and commendable. I started blogging in 2008 and started Hello Lovely in January of 2010 so my decade anniversary for it is approaching! I love all the fall decor inspo here and even more than Christmas stuff since it tends to be so much more natural and pure. There's something about tinsel and show-offy tall fake trees that misses the mark! I'm sharing fall, rustic, farmhouse, vintage decor inspiration in my posts at #59, #61, and #63. Hope you enjoy and hope you are savoring these sacred days of transitioning to a new season. xox
You're so welcome, Michele! Thanks for sharing that special place. I love the fall decor too–the colors, texture, and warmth are so warm and soothing. Come visit Missouri soon! xox
Thanks so much for hosting! I'd like to invite you to linkup your craft and DIY posts at my new party, #AThemedLinkup for Crafts and DIY.
Thanks for being here, Dee! Congrats on the new party–I will check it out.
Thank you for hosting another great TFT; this week, I am sharing #128 Coffee from the Pot and #129 Pears in Brown Sugar Syrup. Have a great week, Pam!
Thanks, Irene! Hope you have a great week too!
I love Cindy's palette post! Thanks for hosting… I'm at 140 this week!
Yes, those color combinations are gorgeous! Looking forward to seeing what you shared!
Thank you for featuring our Neiman Marcus cookies. They are so good. Also thank you for mentioning about gratitude – sometimes I think that we forget how blessed we are. We appreciate you hosting the link party. Our links this week are: #141, #142, & #143. Have a great weekend!
You're welcome, Amy! Yes, sometimes we do forget how blessed we are. Hope you have a great week!
Thank you for hosting! This is what was served during the week 9-9- to 9-13 in my home. On Tuesday morning was Pumpkin Pancakes with Cinnamon Mousse. Wednesday we served a delicious Pumpkin Spiced French Toast Amaretto Sauce. Wrapping up this first pumpkin week in Michigan we enjoyed a No Bake Pumpkin Cheesecake. Enjoy!
It all sounds wonderful, Marilyn!
Temperatures in Florida have been high (as they normally are), but I am with ya – all the Fall DIYs and whatnot are really putting me in a festive mood. This week, I am sharing a scarf I made entirely with #10 crochet thread from my stash (never thought I'd crochet anything like this in thread!) at #152, my DIY'd coffee tote bag which has a special link inside to a coffee themed giveaway at #153, and a sweet little espresso gift in a jar idea at #154. Enjoy your weekend!

You're welcome, Sylvia! Matti is so cute, and the project looks so fun!
That storybook cottage in TN looks like a wonderful place to stay!
