Encouragement, Treats, and Beautiful Things to Make +TFT #409

Welcome to another Thursday Favorite Things link party!  If you are new here, TFT is a link party that has been around for 8 years now and has always been one of my favorites, (even before I was a co-host!)  I’m so glad you’re here to share and/or to get inspired.

Please remember to leave a comment with your link number. (I often choose my features from the comments.)  All 7 of the hostesses choose their own features, so you have 7 chances to be featured. Also, please pin from the original sources. Thanks!

All of the features get pinned to my Thursday Favorite Things board.

Here are my features from last week’s party:

This amazing wedding dress was crocheted, (yes, crocheted!), by Alexandra from Eye Love Knots.  Isn’t it beautiful?

I’m in St. Louis, MO, where gooey butter cake was invented, so I am all about this pumpkin gooey butter cake from Rachel at Adventures of a DIY Mom. It looks delicious.

Michele, from Hello Lovely, has some wonderful encouragement and fall decor inspiration for us. Enjoy your visit.

Deedee, from Clover House, shared some beautiful and frugal fall centerpieces.

It’s time to party my sweet friends. You can add three links until midnight on Saturday. One each day or all at once. Please invite your blog friends and social networks to join us.

Please subscribe to ALL of your hostesses’ blogs.

  2. Top o' the mornin to ya, Pam! Merci beaucoup for featuring my inspiration, and thanks for hosting so much rich loveliness here again today on TFT. I didn't know gooey butter cake was a St. Louis thing!!! I have been making it as a family recipe for many years, and my whole town associates it with me – hahahahaha. We lived in St. Louis for a couple of years when my husband was just starting his law career. I'm sharing fun ideas with fall pears, a recipe I created for a plus size apple cider donut, and encouraging quotes to lift the spirit. Thanks for considering them and for honoring creativity and a spirit of artful camaraderie each week on your lovely blog. xox

    1. You're welcome, and I'm glad you're here, Michele! Haha, yes, gooey butter cake supposedly began here and is one of our quirky St. Louis foods, along with toasted ravioli and Imo's pizza! (I love Imo's, but can't eat it because of the gluten… But it is only good at the restaurant and not if delivered! (personal opinion, shared by most, haha) I'm looking forward to reading your posts! xox

  3. Thank you for hosting! This is what was highlighted during the week 9-23- to 9-27 on the blog. On Tuesday morning was healthier breakfast of Gluten Free Waffles With Fresh Bananas and Strawberries. Wednesday we snacked on healthy Gluten Free Raspberry Ginger Muffins. Wrapping up this healthy week we enjoyed Apple Corn Muffins. Enjoy!

  4. Thank you so much for featuring my dress! I worked really hard on it, and the support is so very appreciated.

This week, I am sharing the last part of the sweater crochet-a-long I hosted last month, which is to make some sleeves for the sweater (#111), and a nail DIY from my newest contributor (#112) so self pampering can begin at home for those who want to get a professional look without paying professional prices.

  6. DeeDee's centerpieces are so gorgeous! I'll be back next week to link-up! (I took a break this week! 😉 )

  7. Wow her dress is amazing! I crochet in spare time (which hasn't been often lately) but I struggle with making clothing that fits. But her dress is just perfect!!

I shared a couple of chicken recipes this week at 153 and 154. Hope you have a wonderful week 🙂

    1. I crochet a little too, but it is mostly straight lines of single or double crochet, or a big granny square afghan! Looking forward to seeing the recipes. I seem to collect chicken recipes more than any other kind!

  8. Thanks so much for hosting! I'd like to invite you to linkup your Halloween posts at my party, #AThemedLinkup for All Things Halloween.

  10. Thank you for hosting the party. The last few days got away from me and I got here too late to link any posts. But I did enjoy looking at some of the posts that were here. Wow, that dress is amazing!
