Thursday Favorite Things #413

Welcome to our weekly Thursday Favorite Things (TFT) link party.  And, to those who celebrate Halloween, I hope you have a fun one!  I’m so proud of myself for waiting until yesterday to buy the candy for our trick-or-treaters. Usually I buy it too soon and eat too much of it so that I have to buy more!

Hope you have had a great week.  Sunny and I have had some nice, colorful walks in the neighborhood. She gets chilled much easier now and heads for the door faster than she used to.  (She’ll be 14 on Saturday!)

Kidney failure?  What kidney failure?  Lively as a puppy, still.

The geraniums by the porch are saying goodbye.  I think it’s time for some mums, don’t you?

See Sunny at the bottom of the picture?

I can’t wait to see what you have to share today.  As a reminder, please leave a comment with your link number, and please pin from the original sources. Thanks!

Here are my features from last week’s party:

Amy, from My Recipe Treasures, shared some fun popcorn balls with a surprise inside.

Here are some creative ways to use place cards, from Julie at My Wee Abode.

Debbie, from Debbie Dabble, created this fun Halloween tablescape for her family.

I love this pretty crocheted wrap from Alexandra at Eye Love Knots.

I can’t wait to try these 2 ingredient bagels from Ani, at All that Life Stuff. They are Weight Watchers friendly too.

It’s time to party, my sweet friends. You can add three links until midnight on Saturday. One each day or all at once. Please invite your blog friends and social networks to join us.

Please subscribe to ALL of your hostesses blogs.

  2. Thank you for hosting another great TFT party, Pam! Sunny is so cute; I am glad she is doing well, and I wish her a happy birthday. This week I am sharing #51 and #54, two bread recipes for Mexico's Day of the Dead (November 2); they are from different regions, but both delicious. Have a great week!

  3. Another fun linkup! Today I have 89-91 with DIY sweater pumpkins and two Thanksgiving tables. My ten year old Scottie has had bad to poor liver values for sometime, but no symptoms. It drives me crazy. But, he doesn't seem to be suffering so like you, we just enjoy these days together. Hug your puppy for me!

  4. Thank you so much for the feature! I can't wait to see how yours come out! I posted my meal planning Monday post and it's #108. Happy Halloween!

  5. Oh, Pam… thanks SO much for the feature! I'm feel so blessed! Hope you are having a great day, and enjoying fall! Lovely party, as always! I'm at 114 and 115 this week!

  6. Thanks so much for hosting this linky. I am returning to blogging after about 8 years with a brand new blog ~ I'd love to have some new followers. I tried to follow most of the people that host this linky but several don't take FB. One I got notice that I couldn't "follow the link from FB because it goes against FB rules" (we all know how they are lol). So, I got most on Pinterest and IG. I'll come check you out when I get home. I saw some cool posts!

  7. I live on a street that trick or treaters don't come to visit, so I don't buy any candy to hand out, but I do take full advantage of day after Halloween candy sales – ha! This week I am sharing a no bake peanut butter candy treat (#143), a cute little crocheted leaf applique (#144), and a scarf that I crocheted, and hand sewed on some leaves to look like they are falling (#145). We don't get changing leaves, and beautiful Fall weather in Florida, so this scarf is as close as I get.

  8. I am the same way with candy lol! I rarely buy it otherwise but once it is in the house, oh the temptation 🙂 It is sitting in the closet for 1 more day (hoping not to be eaten too soon) because we were supposed to have dangerous winds along with rain so they changed it to tomorrow. It is a shame tho because it rained earlier but hasn't rained since around 3 or so. And the temperature right now is 70 (yeah crazy for us) but tomorrow the high will be 54 during the day. Poor kids would have been better today! But no worries, I will brave the cooler weather and sit outside waiting for kids tomorrow night 🙂 And then I will eat candy that is leftover of course.

I am at 152 and 153, hope you have a wonderful week!

  9. Thank you for hosting! This is what I featured the week of 10-21 to 10-25 on my blog. On Tuesday morning was a Smores Milkshake. Wednesday I posted an Insane Zany Brownie Brookie. Wrapping up this week of pre-Halloween treats I highlighted a Cheesecake Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar. Enjoy!

  10. What a doll that sweet silky pup is! I can't imagine the joy she brings, and I am getting closer to adopting a fur baby once again. I'm sharing vibrant inspo for an appetizer idea at #197 and a quiet muted Thxgiving mood at #198. Peace to you, and thanks so much for hosting, Pam. xox

  11. Thank you for featuring our tootsie pop popcorn balls. This is one of my grandchildren's favorite treats. Thank you too for hosting the party. I find that when I buy my trick or treat candy early, it tends to disappear and I have to buy more too. Funny how that happens – isn't it? Our links this week are: #200, #201, & #202.

  12. Thank you for hosting! This is what I featured the week of 10-28 to 11-1 on my blog. On Tuesday morning was a Raspberry Custard Pie. Wednesday I posted a Blackberry Cobbler. Wrapping up this week of fruity pies, cobblers and tarts I highlighted a Key Lime Tart. Enjoy!
