Thursday Favorite Things #431

It's Thursday and time for another Thursday Favorite Things (TFT) link party.  I'm really glad you're here, and I look forward to your posts.

It's been quite a week, hasn't it?  We just never know when a global pandemic is going to throw our lives into a surreal, altered version of life as we know it!  I wish you all health and peace as we journey through this.

I've heard some upsetting stories this past week, of people acting their worst,  hurling insults from cars, etc. that have made me sad and worried.  I've also heard some touching stories of selfless acts and helping that have made me so happy.

I'm glad to say, we can all experience some fun today at the party, and all from a safe social distance too!

Here are my features from last week's party:

Let's Partea!  Garden Tea Party for First Birthday from Dining Delight

Peel Hard Boiled Eggs Hands Free from Marilyn's Treats

29 Dollar Store Organization Ideas from Artful Homemaking

Spring Watercolor Free Printable from Southern Sunflowers

As a reminder, please remember to leave a comment with your link number, and please pin from the original blogs. (I'd love it if you would pin the features collage at the top of the post. 😊)

By adding your link here, you are giving permission to use your photos for features related to the party and on social media.

You can add three links until midnight on Saturday. One each day or all at once. Please invite your blog friends and social networks to join us.

Indeed, we had a wonderful time at my granddaughter's 1st birthday party - so glad we were able to celebrate it before all that's going on in the world now!

  5. Although I'm checking the news pretty frequently still, I do have to limit myself, and try not to check before bed. I also try to counter it with hearing positive stories, or thinking about what I am grateful for right now, or ways I can help people who aren't doing as well. I linked up #71, 72, 73. :)

  8. Hi Pam! I am hoping to see things begin to bud soon as I know such signs of spring will lift the spirits of so many around me. I thought I would have an easy time quarantining since I'm an introvert with a lot of solitary interests, but I find I must be very intentional about not sinking into despair. Creating encouraging quotes and uplifting content is what I have been doing for years, but it seems more important than ever. I'm sharing at 172, 173, and 174, and I appreciate all of your time and talents in hosting this gathering. Blogging is so important right now, and I hope we will unite in fresh ways to spread cheer and goodness. Peace to you, friend. xox

    1. I am like you -- I thought that, as an introvert, I would handle the quarantine well. But I'm feeling anxious, and I miss my simple routines, like Saturday morning breakfast out with my husband. (But then, I feel grateful to be free from the virus, and start to feel guilty for missing things like breakfast out!) I'm trying to keep things as normal as possible, but then I sometimes worry that I'm being insensitive if I share a product I love on social media or at my blog! I agree with you-- Blogging is so important right now. The connections and the sharing are so uplifting. Thanks for being here, friend! xox
