Christmas in July (in August!) and TFT #451

Welcome to the Thursday Favorite Things (TFT)  link party.  I can’t wait to see what you have to share with us.

There were several Christmas in July posts at the party last week, and I’ve featured them today.  I hope I didn’t miss any.  Every year I vow to start planning for Christmas a little earlier, but somehow, the time slips away.  Some years I’m better with my planning than others.

Speaking of Christmas in July, my husband has lined up our old, blow mold Christmas yard decorations in the garage, to greet the neighbors every time the garage door goes up. He likes the fact that it’s like the curtain going up for a performance. I keep forgetting to get a picture of it, but I will try to remember. People do tend to comment about it when they walk by!

Here are my features from last week’s party:

Christmas in July from The Painted Apron

Christmas in July from White Arrows Home

Christmas in July from Penny’s Vintage Home

Christmas in July – Memorial Lantern from My Home of All Seasons

Seas and Greetings Wood Beach Sign from Southern Sunflowers

On with the party!

  3. Pam, I love that colorful graphic from The Painted Apron. I am heading over to visit her now. And that kitchen from Penny's Vintage Home is so warm and welcoming! I just linked the stenciled tile bathroom floor…definitely a labor of love! Hope all is well your way.

  5. Christmas always puts me in a good mood. I think if it were acceptable, I would have my home decked out for Christmas, and the music on my radio all year long. Hehe. And even with that, I still find it to creep up on me, and be in a rush to buy/make/wrap gifts and behind in my decorating.

This week, I'm sharing a crochet pattern review (#123) for a beautiful pink top I made for a client in New York. Perfect weather there to be rockin' it right now.
