Amazon Finds – July

Happy day, everyone.  It’s time for another Amazon finds and purchases post.  I love to see all of your Amazon finds, and I’m sharing my July purchases with you today.

Here are my most recent Amazon finds and purchases.

I ran across this marble cardstock paper pad when I was browsing. It’s so gorgeous and inexpensive, I had to buy one.  This isn’t a super heavy cardstock; it’s just the weight I need for some projects I have planned. A nice, medium weight. I also like to use cardstock as backgrounds for taking photos and for lettering backgrounds, and also in my journals.

I bought this pretty yoga ball to use as a chair at my computer.  Using an exercise ball as a chair supposedly helps with core strength and posture.  I have no idea if any of that is true. I just wanted a more comfortable seat!  The current chair I’m using is very hard and uncomfortable, so I hope using this ball will help (and those other benefits would be nice, too.)

These new brush pens are now some of my favorites. They are the Stabilo Pen 68 Brush Pens, and I love them so much. They’re a medium size brush pen, and they’re very easy to use, even for beginners. This set that I bought comes in the best case, too.  Although I store most of my brush pens horizontally, with some exceptions, I love that this case stands up because it’s fun to use as I’m lettering. This size pack was a bit of a splurge for me, but I had a gift card, so…  They do come in smaller sets, (but possibly without the stand up case.)

This sugar keeper has been one of those little finds that has made my life simpler.  The size, the little pour spout, and the ability to grab it with one hand have all been some of the pluses of this little sugar storage container.  It’s really nice quality and easily holds a 4 lb. bag of sugar. Also, my husband (aka The Sugar Fairy, because of how he tends to sprinkle sugar around) tends not to sprinkle so  much sugar around anymore. And, that is a great bonus!

I needed some Zink photo paper for my tiny, pocket size Canon Ivy mini photo printer (for smartphones.)  I use the little 2×3 photos in my journals.  My review of my Canon Ivy is here.

  1. The yoga ball works! Try pulsing your pelvic floor every 3rd word you write. I have the marbled paper too and printed a copy of our marriage license on it to send to keep in a frame. That may sound bizarre but we married abroad and had to wait two months for the official legal one to arrive.

    1. That's good to know about the yoga ball! What a great idea to do that with your marriage license. That paper is so pretty.

  2. A sugar keeper is so brilliant! I feel like that solves a legit annoyance in our household. Also, cardstock is just everything, isn't it?

    1. Yes, I love that thing! I keep wondering why I never had one before. Yes on the cardstock, too. I had just purged a bunch and swore I wouldn't buy any more of the pads, but this one was just so pretty.

  3. I bought the marbled cardstock a few years ago at Michael's, and I certainly didn't pay only $5.88 for it, lol. I'm glad you shared this on our link party Happiness is Homemade so that I can order it cheaper when I run out! Our other link party, Traffic Jam Weekend is back from hiatus this Thurs, July 28, and I'd love for you to share with our readers on there as well! You'll find us over at Life as a LEO Wife.

    1. I was amazed at that low price on the cardstock, too! I'm glad you'll be able to replace yours less expensively when you run out! I will come by Traffic Jam Weekend on Thursday. 🙂
